One of my favorite wedding photos of the year took place in the back yard of the groom parents home this year. There is not that much into this particular wedding photo but as a wedding photographer in Charlotte I understand it is the little things in wedding photography that can make a big difference. In this picture the photograph as a whole was great but not the reason I picked it as one of my favorite. In my opinion it is because of the location. As a wedding photographer we have to take great wedding photos in the most ideal of locations and sometimes we are expected to take great wedding photos in places that are not suitable for wedding photography or weddings as a whole. To sum it up location matters to wedding photographers. That again is why I like this wedding photo. This wedding took place in their backyard and in most cases backyard weddings lack appeal and beauty but this one was perfect and it showed in the wedding photography.
