Pelican Watch Shelter Wedding Look Back

Over the years I have shot hundreds of weddings as a Charlotte wedding photographer and when it comes to destination weddings I have shot more than I can imagine especially in Folly Beach and Charleston SC. This particular wedding took place a few years ago but I couldn’t help but to think about it because of how awesome The Pelican Watch Shelter was for an outside wedding in Charleston and also the Folly Beach area. Thou simple in appearance The Pelican Watch Shelter makes a perfect wedding venue in Folly Beach especially when decorated. That’s one of the things that made this wedding venue unique and special. I remember first looking at it thinking to myself I was going to have to pull some special creativity out of my wedding photography hat because I was not impressed with the venue at first sight. That’s because I arrived early but after the wedding planner finished everything it turned out to be an outstanding location and wedding. As a wedding photographer this reminds me of something that we always should remember no matter how we feel about a location we should always use everything available no matter what it is to create the best wedding photos. In the case of this wedding it was not that difficult as everything flowed perfect and the wedding venue turned out to be one of my favorite places for an outside wedding.
