As a wedding photographer our job is to make lemonade when given lemons. I took this picture at a wedding in 2011 and so often I refer to this photo as to why as a Charlotte wedding photographer I see art in everything and use that to bring the best out of every wedding photo I take no matter the situation. This is something that is essential as a wedding photographer in Charlotte NC. There are so many natural resources in our state that are perfect for a back drop and appealing for creative wedding photography that rainy days like today are still good for wedding photos. I can’t count the amount of times I took wedding photos and we had to readjust due to bad weather or issues with the wedding venue. In my opinion as a professional wedding photographer it is to be expected and something we should prepare for. That is what I mean by turning lemons in to lemonade. No matter the weather, the way the venue looks, if an accident happens with a guest or the wedding party as a wedding photographer we should photograph the best out of everything. By doing this the bride and groom will have something to cherish for a lifetime.
