With drones, trash the dress ideas, new technology, and the competitive nature to outperform other wedding photographers the limits of wedding photography of today seem to be without boundaries. When I first started out in the field of wedding photography in Charlotte I would speak to veteran photographers for ideas and tips to mold my craft to become the best wedding photojournalist I could be and I found it hard to get good information from some while others in the photography industry where eager to share. Over time I learned that all it takes is creativity and a desire to learn new trends and evolve with technology. 20 years ago not just for weddings but all photography had limits when it came to the amount of photos taken. This was because of the cost of film but as technology changed wedding photographers and others in the photography industry where able to reach new limits when taking photos because with digital photography the amount of images taken are almost limitless. This essentially created an incentive for even more creative wedding photos without the fear of using too much film. Luckily for me as a wedding photographer this is when we started.
