Wedding photography at Stony Mountain Vineyards in Albermarle NC is almost like going to the mountains without literally going to the mountains. As I look back at this wedding I shot a few years ago I can’t help but think about how awesome the backdrop of the Uwharrie mountains looks in the wedding photos. As a wedding photographer I wondered how is this called Stony Mountain Vineyards when the wedding venue is east of Charlotte and the mountains are to the west of Charlotte. The answer to this question is one of the reasons I love my job of being a wedding photographer in Charlotte. I learn so much at every wedding. The answer is the Uwharrie mountains are so old they are no longer mountains. That would explain why the back drop in the wedding photos looks as if I where providing wedding photography in North Carolinas mountains on that day.
